1. About Executive Private Hire
The service is operated by Alexandru Tutu, trading as Executive Private Hire, at 1a Long Brackland, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1UH. Contact alex@executiveprivatehire.com or +44 7472 610453. These terms apply to airport transfers, business and private travel, and agreed document-delivery jobs.
2. Enquiries and booking confirmation
Website forms, WhatsApp messages, emails and calls are requests until we expressly accept the booking and agree its essential details. Before you commit, we will confirm the service, date, itinerary, price, payment arrangements and any specific conditions in writing, including by email or WhatsApp. Keep that confirmation and check it promptly.
You must supply accurate locations, times and contact details, together with passenger numbers, luggage and any special requirements. If you book for another person, ensure you are authorised to do so. A change is effective only when we agree it; we will explain any price change before you accept it.
3. Prices and what is included
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling. The website shows an hourly rate of £75 and a daily rate of £750 for up to eight hours. These are guide rates; your agreed quote sets the total for your specific journey. Before acceptance, the quote must identify applicable taxes and any parking, airport charges, tolls, crossings, waiting or additional time, or explain how a charge will be calculated if it cannot reasonably be known in advance.
We will not change the price of an accepted booking unilaterally. If you request a change, or extra services become necessary, we will explain the effect and seek agreement before charging for them.
4. Payment
Cash, card and account payments are available by arrangement. Accepted methods, the payment due date and any advance payment or deposit are agreed before confirmation. Account or credit terms require prior agreement. We do not retain card numbers or security codes; card transactions are handled by the relevant payment provider.
No deposit, interest rate or account fee is imposed by this website. Any booking-specific payment condition must be explained and accepted in advance.
5. Changes, cancellations and no-shows
Tell us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel, using the contact details above. Please ask for acknowledgement; if travel is imminent, call. Any cancellation deadline, no-show definition or proposed charge must be clearly disclosed and agreed before the booking is accepted.
A cancellation or no-show charge must be fair and proportionate to our reasonable net loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement work. There is no automatic full-fare penalty under these terms. We will explain the calculation and return any advance payment beyond a valid charge without undue delay. Any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to the particular service remain available.
6. Waiting time and airport collections
Airport collection arrangements, the included complimentary waiting allowance and any additional waiting rate must be stated in your confirmation; this website does not specify a fixed number of free minutes. Provide accurate flight details and tell us promptly about changes. Flight monitoring or meet-and-greet services apply only if specifically agreed.
If you cannot locate the driver, call before leaving the collection area. If we cannot find or contact you, we will make reasonable attempts to reach the supplied number before treating the booking as a no-show, in line with the agreed arrangements.
7. Timing, disruption and cancellation by us
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and make reasonable efforts to follow the agreed itinerary. Tell us about flight, train or appointment deadlines and allow appropriate contingency time. Traffic, weather, road closures and other disruption can affect travel; we will communicate material changes as soon as reasonably practicable and discuss available options.
If we cannot provide an accepted service, we will tell you promptly, discuss any suitable alternative without requiring you to accept it, and refund payments for the service not provided. This does not remove any other remedy you have where we are legally responsible.
8. Passengers, luggage and safety
Travel is subject to safe and lawful vehicle capacity. Declare luggage, large items, child-seat needs, mobility requirements and any assistance required before booking so suitability can be confirmed. Seat belts must be used as required by law. Do not smoke, vape, carry prohibited items or behave in a threatening or unsafe way in the vehicle.
A driver may refuse or end a journey where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance. Any charge for a curtailed journey, damage or exceptional cleaning must reflect reasonable, evidenced loss and applicable law. Assistance-dog and accessibility requests will be considered in accordance with applicable legal duties.
9. Document delivery
Before acceptance, agree the collection and delivery addresses, contacts, access hours, required deadline and any named-recipient or proof-of-handover arrangement. Securely package and accurately describe the consignment. Tell us about sensitive, irreplaceable or high-value contents and discuss suitable insurance arrangements before booking.
Do not include cash, dangerous or prohibited goods, or items requiring specialist regulated handling in a standard document delivery. We do not provide legal advice, legal process service or a specialist chain-of-custody service unless separately agreed and appropriate. A deadline or proof-of-delivery method is binding only when expressly accepted as part of the booking.
10. Responsibility and your rights
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was reasonably contemplated by both parties when the booking was made. We do not exclude responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability or consumer remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude.
These terms do not impose a blanket limit of liability to the fare or automatically exclude missed connections or luggage claims. Please report a problem promptly so we can investigate and take reasonable steps to resolve it. You should also take reasonable steps to limit avoidable loss.
11. Privacy and appropriate website use
We use booking and job information as described in our privacy policy. Do not misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful material. Website content and branding may not be reused without the relevant owner’s permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Complaints, terms changes and applicable law
For a complaint, contact Alexandru with your booking reference or journey date and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond. If we cannot resolve it, we will explain our position and provide information about any dispute-resolution route we are required to identify. You remain free to seek independent advice or use the courts.
The version supplied when your booking is accepted applies to that booking. Later website updates apply to future bookings unless we agree a change with you. The law of England and Wales applies; consumers keep any mandatory protections and rights to use the courts of their home jurisdiction where those rights apply.
